People have been speculating here for a while about Faulk's possibility of physical problems, but would that really cause his poor decision making on the ice?
Thought 4th was really good tonight. As was Tucker. He looks more confident.Nice simple play by the 4th line ends up in a goal
3 Stars:
1. Binnington
2. Parayko
3. Faksa
But what has Fowler done wrong? Huh!?Fowler with a key block at the end there.
Proving night in and night out to be a disastrous acquisition.
Simply existed as the best defenseman on a terrible hockey team for his entire career. But what has Fowler done wrong? Huh!?
I think Joseph can find a home on the 4th line. I think he has the potential to be a lot more effective than Walker as a forechecking forward and penalty killer. They should def give that trio we saw tonight a run of games together.Having a 4th line that can actually play again is so nice.
I like the Brendan Morrow comp a little better to be honest. They're much more similar in size, feistiness, and goal scoring prowess around the net.Neighbours is shorter and plays wing but he is the same age as David Backes was about a dozen games into his NHL career. Neighbours is already at 174 games. Backes had to grow into his physicality to match his style of play, which Neighbours also needs to. I think of Backes and Schenn as physical "bleed blue" captains who Neighbours evokes with his play. Just perspective for a player who needs his body to catch up with his battle a bit
