Dude, there was an update for the server that basically nuked this site. Did you seriously miss that?

They're working on it.
No I didn't miss it but it was working fine yesterday, anyway for me. But now it seems that they made changes and the hfboards logo is gone and I cant go to the last pages of a thread either unless I scroll down at the end of the page.

I guess it will be back soon 😀

Yeah, trust me even mods have complained about having to scroll down the page to get to the next page. Everyone is lazy, I guess. Lol

Wait...I thought we were wednesday

They've been traveling for every game so far since like December 11th.. they are playing a very heavy schedule right now. Pezz gives them 4 minutes and then everyone else is playing up 2-3 minutes more a night having to double shift in his spot.

And they could have called someone up a long time ago.. Laine was out with the flu for multiple games, Heineman got hit by a car, Newhook was already questionable with the flu. The player not having practiced with the team is entirely a function of them not calling up a forward. They are operating without an extra forward right now.

If someone gets sicked, gets hurt in warm-up.. we have to go 7 D.. if two players go down in warm-up, we are playing shorthanded. It's just not a smart move.
This boggles my mind….indeed, we are playing a lot more games in a tighter window….surely they would want to keep the guys s fresh as they can be….yes?

They probably just don't want to do it while on the road. They finally have a 3 game home stand, and actually play 6 of their next 7 games at home. The one road game is to Detroit. If they don't call anyone up after this Dallas game, I'll be a bit annoyed.

It's pretty remarkable that they have the record they do with all the traveling they've done.
My conspiracy theory is that HuGo don't want to win too many games, their plan was to draft 10-15, not 16+. So keeping Pezz as the replacement option is their way to slowdown the team. The players have other ideas. :naughty:

I actually expect a slowdown once they get to spend more time at home. With all the traveling they had no time to get distracted by "life".

Ah non, pas encore eux autres!

Oh well, let’s get them while their hosts’ legs are still tired from the first night back home with the wives thingy.

Is it me or are we not any closer to da playoffs than we were 2 week ago despite all the winning?

Yea that is freaking weird. We have been winning like crazy while the others in our division were playing garbage but now they start winning again too and we're neck and neck with them. It may be some sort of mathematical witchcraft or iit's cause we sucked so much before that we had to win a lot to just stay affloat.

Also the Bruins for example have played much more games than the rest. So their numbers are inflated.

f***ing CBJ is winning again... sigh... we can't have nice things.

Mister "Mets en"!

It's been a long time since you posted your last " Mets en!"

No "Mets en", no party!

Right now Columbus are like the little brother where you just delivered a few "A" at school and you proudly show it to your parents and then your brother comes up with unreal scores and you're like "that little son of a bitch!".
Just be an only child theory and have you parents be proud with Bs.

Well, it's not helping us that Columbus has won 5 in a row & is 8-2 in their last 10. Despite going 7-2-1, we actually fell off by 1 point.

Freaking Ottawa has also won 3 consecutive games.

We are making progress, though. We've passed Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Detroit & NYR in the last couple of weeks.

We've closed to within 3 pts of Boston and hold 3 games in hand. They were like 8-9 points up at one time.

We're also within 3 points of TB for #3 spot in Atlantic, and they're down to just one game in hand when they had 2-3 games at one time. We play them soon, too.

It would be great if CBJ would lose a game, but they're playing SJS tonight and are already winning 2-0.

We really need the Caps to beat the Sens tonight.

If we win against Dallas, we move to within a point of Boston.
