They've got plenty of options.. Condotta who has done it before. Davidson who has earned it. Beck who has an NHL game under his belt and has plenty of qualities. ABB who started the season here. Roy who has played this season and played 30 plus games last year.

Stars are absolutely stacked. They are my favorite to win the cup coming out of the west.

Its going to start sounding like a broken record....but every game is a must win at this point. The east is just too tight right now. Every team chasing the WC has a chance, except Buffalo.

It could be Condotta or RHP. I don’t think they gonna call up a rookie or Roy or Davidson. Any of the call ups or Pezz gonna play more than 10 minutes anyway. And Evans and Armia are a solid PK combo.


Heineman will be back mid Feb at the latest.

The reason is pretty obvious: If you're gonna have a player up with the big team who's going to spend the bulk of his time as a healthy scratch, you don't want it to be a younger player who would be much better served developing in on your AHL team and getting lots of ice time.

I don't think there's a single poster advocating to call up Beck/Roy/Davidson/ABB/Tuch to have them sit in the press box. It would be to replace Pezz for the few weeks that Heineman is out. So they wouldn't be a healthy scratch. It's been several times now that management refuses to call up someone and plays with 11 forwards when they know full well we won't be healthy.

When the team falls off, fatigue is gonna be a big part of it. Pezz can't be relied to play a shift. Not calling anyone up is a stupid decision.

They probably just don't want to do it while on the road. They finally have a 3 game home stand, and actually play 6 of their next 7 games at home. The one road game is to Detroit. If they don't call anyone up after this Dallas game, I'll be a bit annoyed.

It's pretty remarkable that they have the record they do with all the traveling they've done.
