If the PP stays hot this team matches up well against Florida. Use Floridas physicality against them to draw penalties, dominate the powerplay, and hope Florida doesn't wreck the Wings too bad 5 on 5. Interesting strategy here.
Detroit is very good at drawing penalties and not taking many.

Doing new rescue dog stuff so missed most of the 1st 2 periods and my sound ain't working.

The thread reads like they tightened up after the 1st?

Survived the 1st, wasn't a horrible road period. Florida was just flying and connecting on passes. Second had a nice push back and the PP was on their game as they been. They have overall played a pretty damn good road game.

Enough pushback to cause Florida to take some penalties which has gotten them off their rhythm on the forecheck. They still had plenty of chances and o-zone time but much more tame and controllable than the 1st.

Got my sound back, I guess the ESPN crew isn't blowing anyone's skirt up?

Not so fast, you really think you can just casually mention a new rescue dog and not even mention what kind of dog it is and what a good pupper it is?

He's been bounced around a bit in the system and is too skinny and overly nervous. He's here overnight because of another bounce around (some poor foster picking choices IMO) and I think my dog can help him so I'm trying to get permission to let someone else take the little puppy I was going to take tomorrow, and let me keep Brownie as my new foster.
