Nah, I think he was bad on this one because he didn't really have any space to do any sort of dekes. It was a breakaway, but the two defenders were barely behind him, so if he tried to do anything fancy, they would've been able to at least check him off the puck if not steal it away. I'm disappointed he didn't score, but it wasn't like he had much of a choice in my opinion.

Why is this T.v time-out so long?

Each TV timeout is a minute and a half and they have 3 of them per period: past the 6 minute mark, past the 10 minute mark, and past the 14 minute mark. The length might be longer with national games, but I'm not sure.
