It's shameful how Morrow's been treated.
I watched Morrow pretty closely in the games he has played this year and I liked what I saw.
He is a young D who does make mistakes but he added a real physical element to his game this season, he was throwing some nice hits almost every game he was in and showed flashes of skating with confidence, skating the puck out of danger. I noticed some real improvements in his game. His shot was getting through n creating rebounds, not afraid to jump up in the rush (although it did burn him a few times) And then boom...gone.
I don't think putting Morrow into the line up at this point is much of a difference maker to the Bruins success, but in terms of developing potential young talent, doesn't seem like he was handled correctly.
Also seems like he is pretty much not in the Bruins future plans at this point, especially with the super talented group of young D that are coming up, he will easily be the odd man out.
Oh well...I dont think we even got to really see what we had in him, hope he sticks on somewhere else and wish him the best...but I've come to terms with him not being in the Bruins plans.
No matter what, Mcquaid and K.Miller will never be out of the line up unless injured.
