As I said at draft day, talent was no contest for Cooley. Safe was Wright. Risk vs reward = Slaf. I would have taken Cooley too. But Slaf should develop into something. My only huge concern will always be how fast can he process the game. That will never be a problem for Cooley.
Caufield had an awful first half of the season when he was 20.Way too soon.
It's not even close honestlySorry Subban, Sorry Markov but this kid is on another level.
Newhook is the new Byron prove me wrong.
People write Slaf off too soon.
Yet....at No1.....even though it will safely be one of the worst draft in recent times....you have to get a significant player even if he is not going to be the very best. There is a possibility that Slaf could not even be top 10 when everything is done.People really need to get over the fact that the team isn't perfect at the draft. No team is. The important thing is to come out with a great player and sometimes a gem. They did that with Slaf and Hutson.
Slaf is still in the "To Be Determined" category. Hutson is the oil field Jed Clampett found under his land.People really need to get over the fact that the team isn't perfect at the draft. No team is. The important thing is to come out with a great player and sometimes a gem. They did that with Slaf and Hutson.
Hutson is now on pace to break the all-time assists record for a rookie dman.
HUTSON: 24 PTS IN HIS LAST 22 GAMESHUTSON: 20 PTS IN HIS LAST 19 GAMES
I agree actually that he is already better than Adam FoxHe's already a superstar
Makar
Hughes
Hutson
That's the order.
