Utah’s plan was always to get through this season as the Utah Hockey Club and to pick a team name this upcoming offseason. As the move from Arizona to Utah was very quick they didn’t want to rush that process.

Riiight, or we can believe Arizona isn't giving up and they're planning to move back the team.

Many people on this board hate Wawa now. Crazy to see. Has a bad camp and all of a sudden he sucks. I'd like to see him called him and given another chance. He's producing well in the AHL.

No one hates the kid...........he had several people climb over him, and into the lineup.........they had him up for 3-4 games and he was invisible. Work on his game down in the AHL and is still considered a talented find for a 4th rounder.

At least Pezz plays a somewhat similar style to Heineman. I didn't get plugging him into Laine's spot at all.

Still too bad, Heiny was a big part of that line's recent success and that line was a big part of the Habs recent success.

True.........that said, Dobes has played so well, so it will just take 2 starts to go sideways for Monty and boom we have a goalie issue with Dobes in the waiting, and playing so well.

I think if they can manage this well, Monty for 2 games, and Dobes gets the 3rd start, then Monty gets time to rest and not get relied on too heavily. He falters every third or fourth game by getting hammered in the 1st period by allowing 3-4 goals and we lose 7-2

He got no point in his last 4 though.

But yeah it really sucks because he completes Evans and Armia really well.

I hope we call up someone from Laval for the next game because Pezz ain't the guy we need.

I got no problem with Pez on the 4th line, he's no Heiny but the 4th is his proper chair. It's when he's up any higher in the lineup that he sticks out like a sore thumb.

I'd like to see Dobes get Toronto, he's been a king slayer with some big victories against some great teams. (all on the road) He deserves a chance at another in the Bell Centre on a saturday night.

Hope Slaf keeps up the physicality. Second line needs to step up 5v5 big time they get hemmed into their own zone way too much and don't really contribute offensively. I think Pezz is fine in the 4th line role, I just had a major issue with him as Laine's replacement since everyone in the top 6 kept getting double-shifted. It shouldn't be an issue now.
