Most of the goals were not on Husso. Our giveaways and defensive coverage down low was terrible

NHL goalies should be able to stop most of what went in tonight. That first goal, Holl first of 2 bonehead bad plays but Husso lets in yet another lame far shot with no traffic. NHL goalies are expected to come up with saves that aren't always easy and Husso never stops those. Even the Granlund mini break is stoppable by many NHL goalies. Husso has about the worst mid glove and blocker sides I can recall from an NHL goalie.

Husso and Holl pooped this one away.

Can we end the Husso experiment already? Any remotely tough shot is in the net.

What did he say?

Basically ... Todd said he (Holl) had a terrible night . He won't lie, but he will tell him the same thing at practice tomorrow. Justin would tell you himself he had a bad game. He's better than that, we know that.

Every time I see Husso I think, yep that's his last game as a Wing and within days or weeks he's back due to injury. I didn't even bother watching tonight - he needs to just be cut and be done with him.
I think tonight was his last game in the Wing wheel. I know everything wasn't his fault tonight, but Cossa would of done a better job for sure.

It's hard to blame Husso not playing very often has to be annoying. At the same time playing like shit earns you shit.

Question:

Does "East West Hockey" imply a lot of cross-ice passes that are easy to intercept? Does "North South Hockey" in turn imply a lot of direct attacks down the slot with not enough maneuvering?

We were due for a reality check.

Looks like Tarasenko could get going at the same time Cat cools off.

Larkin had a poor game as well. It was kind of comical watching him skate in circles on their 3rd goal (I think), never finding the right guy to cover.

Seriously. If all T-Mac really accomplishes is "unlocking" the stats that the pro scouts saw, then this will be a successful season IMO. A few changes in the off season (which contracts fall off?) and a trade or two, and they should be ready to rawk hard next season.

Bit of both. Husso should have had the first one and ideally at least one of the others.
Eh, it was a predictable letdown game. Might not even be the worst thing. Let the team reset mentally before going on the road.

We didn't lose because of Husso, but he needs to make a save now and then on high percentage chances.

It was a poor effort all around, especially Holl. He looked like he was playing on a bad connection and was lagging.

Husso in net? Will need to score at least 6 goals.
I wrote 1st team to 3, then I thought Husso is in the net it will be 1st to 5.

Holl wa terrible, but Todd was even worse. He puts Husso in net after team played very sloppy last game but had all luck in the world and won undeservedly big.

Larkin did not have a good game. Nor Kane nor DeBrincat.
Edvidsson, Tarasenko and Veleno were good.
its not

was rootin for him but aint workin. team always comes out flat when he starts too.
For what ever reason he seems to bring bad luck

Husso should be waived again. No one will trade for him, his confidence is shot and he can only hurt us. Call up Cossa if we have no other goalie. We gave this game away trying to give him a mercy start...
