He is free to use them whenever he'd like.
Made some nice plays tonight. Has to keep doing that to earn the ice time. He's already been gifted an unearned roster spot since he was drafted. At least make him earn the ice time on a top 5 team in the league.

He just needs to shoot it on goal from center ice, use his speed to beat the puck down there, and set up for the deflection. That's all.
I still maintain he needs to be a better skater.
I like that he’s physical, I like that he likes to finish, I love his shot.
His feet don’t get him to enough areas on the ice where he can constantly produce.
Plus his chemistry with chytil doesn’t really mix

What I can't understand is why the Rangers are paying Gallant 3.6 million a year when there's so many genius guys that want to do it for free.

In a season that has had many really good.....feel good victories, for me, this tops them all. Number 1, first and foremost, is finally a victory against the Los Angeles Kings (in which I don't have to really explain too much further). Enough said on that. So in the shootout, Byfield scores and we are facing a loss, and by some mystical magical draft 2020 history LaFreniere ties the game and rightly so. Had he failed, there for sure would have been many negative reactions. But, he didn't. Very nice move under immense pressure. Kudos. Despite all the demographics and analytics.......i am a simple Ranges fan, not NOT acknowledging analytics, but I see......I sound off, (at my TV) and I ENJOY what I have just witnessed.
