I'd be happy if that was next year's lines. This year......not so much, especially now. Mika has already been a little less than. If he was really on.....he would have 10 in the last 5.
So, with that as the 1st line, and KK always being snake bitten, who is putting the puck IN the net?
Again, I do want that someday, just not sure if it will happen.
Also, been thinking Kreids should be there to FORCE more responsibility on these future "Stars".

let's roll with these 3 lines the next 4 games. so we have dallas, columbus, montreal, and then boston. these games ought to be a real good measuring stick to see if a new look maybe worth further exploration. if we go 2-2 with a win over either dallas or boston then yeah it could work. if not we can always go back to what we we're doing in case the new look backfires.

He’s almost getting better.

Me too. He's always been a very good player and great around the net, but it seems sometimes when players are "that intelligent" they are the ones that continue to be successful in the latter stages of their careers. They re-invent themselves, totally understanding how the game has evolved and adjust accordingly. He is amazing.
Honestly, when he got traded to the Stars, I thought that would be the last of his career in a few years. And it was looking that way, as his production went down. looking at his stats now, he's looking like a PPG player, just like last year.

Oh and btw, happened to peek at the Stars GDT......there wasn't even one up! Pretty lame, I guess their season isn't worthy of paying attention like our mods (and others, here) do. We are the best.

I hope Laf takes this opportunity and makes good, but Kreider has been having a good season, and don't see why he should be moved off the Top line yet.
