That was a nice 3 on 2 rush. Played it perfectly with Perry trailing back. Too many times everybody just skates to the net for a nothing chance.

This doesn’t get talked about enough. It’s a turnover almost every time he leaves his net, even on plays when there’s no pressure. Easily the worst part of his game and that’s saying something considering it’s hard to come up with an area he’s good in.

Absolutely a problem area. Too slow in his movement, slow in his reads and then slow in his reaction with the puck. It's in part an experience/developmental piece but also an area where it might be limited. Doesn't help that he's a poor skater.

All being said, Skinner had a real solid first period in which their team was pushed back for most of it.
