Game #43: Kings @ Oilers - 7:30 PM - SNW

How is Josh Brown expected to find an outlet pass in this coverage. Weird game to go 11-7.

WTF is Hrudey doing on here? f*** off back to Calgary!
Here for Ukrainian night. Being controversial, my favorite player of all time is on a video about the Ukrainians struggle and strength while he danced away at Trump’s election win. Mr Canada being awfully quiet with all the annexing Canada chat- Trump dropping his name in press conferences. So much for Canadian and Ukrainian pride. At the end of the day, it’s how does this benefit me. Sorry, I had to get it off my chest. I know not the right place- the Ukrainian piece threw me for a loop

Nailed it. LA is playing Florida’s style against Edmonton. You beat with quick outlets. Brown does nothing to help that

The Oilers really have not stopped looking like crap. Comebacks against bottom feeders, wins against low position teams, have masked many issues.

If we get another PP we better make it count because I doubt that we'll get a 3rd unless it's a no brainer. We need more size, speed and grit on the wings. I wouldn't mind seeing Kapanen on Drai's RW in a game like this.
Heavy hockey can give us trouble. We def could use a bit more size and grit

Leaders need to step it up

What is this now? 3 pathetic starts in a row? Luckily scoreless in this first

Yes. I realize there are ebbs and flows to the year. Wouldn't we know as Oiler fans.

No Dec slump this year though. I know they aren't machines.

BUT at least show up to games lol. Give some effort level. Stop not showing up then trying to finish your homework when it is too late

Oilers have the worst puck moving goaltender(s) in the league. Slow processor leads to slow decision making/in decision Big kill time.
This doesn’t get talked about enough. It’s a turnover almost every time he leaves his net, even on plays when there’s no pressure. Easily the worst part of his game and that’s saying something considering it’s hard to come up with an area he’s good in.

I'm listening in on CHED and they are making it sound like we held our own, despite getting outshot so much.
LA looked more dominant with their passing and shooting, but they got that one amazing chance and one more semi good one.

We held our own a tad, but I swear we are playing at 20% that period
