Bruins best chance to win is to be very physical on every play and hit, hit, hit.
Wear them down all over the ice but I doubt they have that mentality.

Well that score could be worse that’s my only positive so far..

Pretty much. To only concede 1 was fortuitous. Swayman was steady. Had a couple of decent moments but their overall play remains very clunky. Can't build any sustained O zone pressure, D looks slow and half a step out of position, as it often does. But at least they are still in the game.

Marchand oscillates multiple times every shift between playing super aggressive defense and incredibly passive defense.

One moment he’s darting after his man, damn all positioning. The next he’s collapsing back into the slot affording the puck carrier ten feet of space.

Evening all. What have I missed?
Oilers pressed he Bruins for the first bit, scored a goal eventually as everyone stood around with their head up their ass.
Zad went hard to the net. Bumped into Skinner and predictably got called for goalie interference.
Bruins killed it off.
Oilers kept pressing.
End of period.
Bruins outshot/outplayed.
Fans boo them off the ice.

1-0 feels like a miracle lmao.

Swayman has been sterling but ideally you don't let one of the best players on earth continually stand in front of him and/or the slot.

Passing percentage had to be 10% that period.
Team looks so bad. Needs a shakeup. Coach wasn’t the problem

Either make a trade or call up some kids for a bit.
