That was vintage Kane. Looked like a puppet master out there pulling guys to him to dish it out. I’ll happily eat crow on wanting to trade Lalonde’s Kane. Then again, I wanted to trade most of Lalonde era everyone lol.

For as much crap as we gave Lalonde (me included) for not having much of an identifiable system...

It seems like Todd is letting them play. Play hockey first, worry about the system second. Lalonde must have been preaching system first.

Good idea breaking Kasper in on the wing where he can focus more on filling out his game in the offensive zone. Overall I really like his style.

Kasper at wing putting up points. I'm not surprised.

Playing center at the NHL level is very hard and is going to push a rookie towards super leaning towards defense.

I don't think anyone thinks Kasper is going to be a superstar offensively. He needs a little luck and confidence right now and its starting to come.

Another solid game by Aljo too. He has looked signficantly better with Ed. Not sure if its the Todd factor or if its the comfort of palying with a partner he knows really well. I will happily eat some crow if he keeps it up.
