Or get a coach that actually pushes his players to play a bigger and physical game. The fact that we are passive up and down the roster indicates something cultural that the coach has established.

just not enough oomph. petty fights doesn’t mean heart. heart is about caring and respecting the game. it’s about playing smart, hitting hard, and making overall good decisions. this is a track meet with little structure and semblance of team play. we may get the win, but this is some ugly hockey. it’s all about bounces that lead to or prevent a rush. not a lot of forechecking and cycling.

I'm not sure about that the Devils had some grade A chances but not enough for a 6-1 lead. It was more bad from the fact that they barely had the puck.
