General observation from Slafkovsky is that he is way closer to the play than he was before, in both ends. Points might not be there, but he is more noticeable than before for sure

It probably won't last but if they lose regularly with a constant effort like that , the rest of the season won't be as painful as expected.

Nice to see Kirby get another goal and great pass by Ylonen. Cheering for him to have an impact in the big league.

I like the crash/bang Andy and Slaf show when they're paired up. I also like Andy on the PK because he brings mobility and closes space down - it's not as if our PK has been a masterclass of defensive play this year and he's making it worse.

Yeah agree. But the style of playing is there. Slafkovsky play like a solid two-way player like Hossa. We are going to have better idea in 2 years, but the flashes is there! We can all hope that type of career for a 1st overall pick. The talent is there, for sure!

I missed the entire Subban stuff. Bummer he was definitely the last exciting player we had. As good as Nick and Cole are they basically destroy teams off the rush or one quick move. Nobody like PK on the team now who gets the crowd on their feet for an end to end rush.

I would actually try Suzuki with those two guys a little insulation might help him a bit. He won't get that with Caufield and Dach.
