Unfortunately that's what winning hockey looks like. They give the other team no time and space. Every single puck is contested. This looks like a playoff game

Winning hockey certainly requires teams to play in both ends, however Vegas couldn't afford to keep anyone with any creativity with the puck other than Stone or Eichel. There's a reason Bert Howden is their leading goal scorer.

I was a HUGE Hertl fan, but he looks like a shell of himself. 3 knee surgeries did a number on him. Glad we dodged that bullet.

Rangers do well when the opposition just let them play catch along the perimeter of the offensive zone. Vegas just let them run around along the boards in period 1.

Rangers have trouble with pressure. Let's see if Vegas adjusts in period 2.
