This team is pissing me off. The last few games they’ve looked like a competent hockey club, if they played 85% of this on average over their nightmare slump they would’ve been at least .500 over that time.

Winning hockey certainly requires teams to play in both ends, however Vegas couldn't afford to keep anyone with any creativity with the puck other than Stone or Eichel. There's a reason Bert Howden is their leading goal scorer.
I was a HUGE Hertl fan, but he looks like a shell of himself. 3 knee surgeries did a number on him. Glad we dodged that bullet.

Which begs the question, where was this for 2 months while they were whining their way to the cellar? Makes their behavior even more inexcusable.
Rangers do well when the opposition just let them play catch along the perimeter of the offensive zone. Vegas just let them run around along the boards in period 1.

Ducks GDT at 600+ posts tonight. Getting shut out 6-0 to a team who gives up the most goals in the league will do that. So with that said, really don’t want to see much complaining here if they lose, not in the mood, lol.
There is literally less than 0 reason this team should have stopped playing hockey for 20 games. They are easily a top 8 team in the Eastern conference. But hey big meanie Drury hurt their feelings and they figured pouting and rebelling was more important than winning games.
