Watch OUR forwards and realize they are never in support positions to give the nyr d easy passes. Already in this game at least a half dozen times our d is trapped looking for an option up the wall and no one is there to support so instead the nyr d either forces a play or over handles the puck.

I noticed Vesey in particular fly out past his blue line while the d are still mucking it up behind the Ranger net. Yuck.

It's like they are instructed to do it to stretch the opponents defense, but the strong side boards are usually not a safe space for our d which is a problem.
