I'm convinced a lot of our D issues come from our players never having to deal with quick forwards getting on on the forecheck with hustle and intent during training.
We need to employee a training squad of fleet footed skaters who can get them used to the little amount of time they'll have against non-Ranger forwards

Shots or no shots I’ve seen worse first 9 minutes. A few of the guys have made some sharp plays. Schneider has been working on his puck handling and pass receptions

Watch OUR forwards and realize they are never in support positions to give the nyr d easy passes. Already in this game at least a half dozen times our d is trapped looking for an option up the wall and no one is there to support so instead the nyr d either forces a play or over handles the puck.
