Couldn't ask for a worse road trip. A bunch of teams the Kings struggle with all the time, and then a motivated Blues team pouncing on a wounded animal.

Forget the road trip ever existed, get back home, and just get back to basic hockey.

The Kings are a good team. They're battle tested. They'll bounce back. The world is not over yet.

More effort was put into changing this thread title than the Kings displayed during the entire game.

Sutter made a very bad calling by withdrawing Jones who had nothing to do with the 2 goals scored on him, they were lucky bounces for the Blues. We were still in the game at the moment.

Upcoming game against Vancouver will be a defining moment for this team. Will show if they are resilient or not and can get back to their structured play, not this disjointed team we've seen during this road trip
, especially since the tough loss against Chicago.

Once Quick is back, in two weeks it seems, Jones should be the backup, he has deserved it and can learn by being second to Quick. Scrivens had his shining moments but should be traded even though his value has gone down recently.

As for Brown, he has become more than questionable. Won't throw the towel yet though.
