If you think this lacklustre skating in mud team we've seen in the last 48 hours is due to MSL's systems I dunno what to say.

They've got their proverbial heads in their asses right now.

Frequently getting under 5 shots a period. No urgency at all

MsL started with an up tempo vision. Was always talking to the players behind the bench. Now, Barely looks like cares anymore

Dont blame the coach its all on the players. Its the best coaching staff we have in place for a rebuilding team. You wouldnt want a Therrien or a Julien near your young player

Pacing for 47 but only if you stitch together pieces of two seasons.
I just don't see it over 82 games certainly not paying like this.

26 in 46 games is a 43 goals pace.

The lack of system is the reason role player guys look useless. In a 82 game season your employer is telling you, don’t worry do wtv feels right. Mistakes? No problem. It must suck being a vet on this terribly coached team with a guy you can’t criticize

I think it's time for MSL and crew to rethink this whole "we want to teach hockey IQ", some players just need structure. This free flowing style looks good when they're clicking, but is too inconsistent imo.

Especially after a good, real off-season of training. Probably had to concentrate on the shoulder this summer.

I think a lot of it is just a combination of inexperience and lack of real talent on the team.

Yeah Caufield is a goalscorer, when he doesnt score hes not the most usefull player outhere thats for sure
