Game will be on FSND and NHLN, Let's Go Boys!

Kasper-Larkin-Raymond
DeBrincat-Copp-Kane
Berggren-Compher-Tarasenko
Rasmussen-Veleno-Motte/Fischer
Chiarot--Johansson
Gustafsson-Holl
Lagesson
Talbot/Husso

The last couple of years, we've had the tendency to play down to the level of the few teams in the league that you could argue are worse than ours.

Maybe McLellan can fix that too, the same way he seems to have fixed moving the puck out of our zone, and PK. We can't afford a backslide during the softer part of the schedule.

Actually, maybe we've already seen evidence that he has fixed it, since we won the Ottawa game.

Make it six!!

Couldn’t find anything with a quick Google search about why Mo and Ed weren’t in the practice lineups. Hope it’s just a rest day for two guys eating a ton of minutes.

Pretty sure its just a typo from wherever MikeLGRW pulled it from. They practiced and the defensive pairings were different than he posted:

Chiarot-Seider
Edvinsson-Johansson
Gustafsson-Holl
Lagesson
Talbot/Husso

I like these lines and pairs. If the effort level is there I like our chances.

I’m hoping for a big game from Kasper. He’s doing the little things right and could use the confidence boost from getting a few points.
Coach is keeping his promise of spreading things around to find a good distribution, while still keeping JV in a spotlight. I think he might be part of what the Sabres were looking for coming back as part of rumored trade of players for a change in scenery being bantered about. Could still be Ras, he is being conserved of late.

JV centering and driving the 4th line that should see some ice time tonight might be a good thing.

Should be a good game, the Hawks have been playing better the past few.

He was razor close last game - he generated a few opportunities - one shift stands out where he caused two turnovers and ended up getting a SOG and a good look that was blocked. Like you said, the little things. My concern - was he had two good looks and the shots were ho-hum. NHL goalies are not easy to score on - when you get an open look though - I like to see the goalie having to use reflexes and movement to make a save, not just "be big". Didn't see that in his shot attempts

Echo what everyone is saying about depth forwards, Kasper, and JV. Hopefully Kasper pots one tonight on the top line.

I’m liking the Ed-Johansson reunion. Hopefully that continues to click.
