I think he's fixated on top left corner (goalie's left) -- because he hasn't perfected (or worked on) the shot, it keeps going low or into the goalie.

You have to remember that previously, he was bringing puck into zone and then dumping it into the corner....I think he's shooting more this season that he did since he first came into the league.
