Trouba, Mika and Panarin are all overpaid by about 3 mil. On a legit team, Mika is a 2C. His inability to even hit the net during grade A opportunities is an embarrassment.

If Jacob Trouba was just an average defenseman this team would be so much better.
He always appears to be confused on what to do when he’s in the defensive zone.

Meh attitude does very little in moving the needle in terms of how good a player is.

Hughes is just a superstar.

Laf will probably end up bouncing around on several teams as a bottom 6er.

It sucks Rangers got the 1st overall pick in a shit draft.

Kappo is not slow. Come on dont be dumb. Hes a MUCH improved skater from last year and hes easily been on of the best forwards for us. Vesey is much better overall than Laffy and plays on Chytls other wing! Goat was not injured, gallant shortens his bench when it comes to the end. Kravy should have played alot more. He was replaced on the line by the moron gallant with Goody who gave a goal away to the devils to make it 3-2.

Are you watching the same game i am?

This is a risk and reward of a creative passer. His goal is to generate scoring chances which means he can’t just dump it or wrap around the boards all the time hence sometimes he turns the puck over
 
Look, there was one really bad play in the game. The Goody pass to Hughes. Laffy didn't make a great decision there, if he was tired he should have pulled back, kept possession and made a change. But the goals the Devils scored were goals that went in despite us playing well. They weren't our breakdowns.

Does this one sting? Yeah.

Is Laffy in a rough spot right now? Yup.

Do I wish we could have shut the Devils down completely in the third? Absolutely.

But we didn't play poorly. We did not beat ourselves. We didn't make the kind of mistakes we made earlier in the year at all. We played well!

And the play where Zibby almost scored in OT was elite minus the finish. I really am not going to complain about this game. I know, I know. We blew a two goal lead in the third. But we didn't blow it because we were making egregious plays all over the ice. Devils played a great third. But, the positives in this one far outweigh the negatives.

I'm not even really an optimistic person by nature, but this game had a lot more good than bad.

Something is really off with this dude.

Go rewatch that ass of a backcheck again on that Dev goal. Guy skates like a slow ass Lias Anderson.

He either quit on the play or he's become a 3 pack a day smoker.
 
GG was mad leaving the bench. Probably second guessing the 10 seconds PP2 got on that first power play.

I do think he needs to address PP1. Maybe he can swap Fox for Trouba?

Um you should prob go look at Mika’s first few seasons in the league. We got him at 23 years of age. Laf already has a 19 goal season under his belt. Be smarter

No but he can! thats the issue, also he can stop with the no look feeds into the slot, the behind the back passes to nobody at blueline, i mean there are a TON of issues i can talk about with panarins passing

That is completely unacceptable on ANY level. Midgets, High School, OHL, AHL, NHL...you don't blow 2 goal leads. You don't do it twice against your top rival in the same year. There is no "good things" that happened today. They lost, and got worked.

I agree with this, actually.

We really went toe to toe with them at ES besides Goodrow's one braincell taking a sabatical on that play.

It just really hurts watching what happens when your young players all grow up while the shitbags on our team still can barely make a pass. and the vet that's holding the whole forward corps hostage can have 7 giveaways a game and nothing changes.

don't even get me f***ing started on tuba

we're being held hostage by expensive underperformers and busts. it's hard to not take that so hard.

This has nothing to do with the players in as much they are not playing up to their potential.

Who's job is to get the most out of their players?
