NHL rules puts the responsibility on the hitter to minimize danger. Stupid play by Tofolli because you want to protect yourself. Its not really different than a pedestrian walking into a crosswalk when they see a car not stopping, the driver is at fault but the pedestrian should not have done so for their own well being.

How's Luke looked so far?

Pretty good, very composed with the puck, which isn't easy to do with Ehrhoff, who is erratic. He is as slow as advertised though, haha, but he's at least smart enough to know where he needs to go so he's not losing any footraces. Hasn't had to do much defensively yet but I'm surprised at his general awareness.

Polak is lucky to get thrown out because a guarantee you Lucic was going to go after him.

I was one of the rare flyers fans that liked Luke. Sort of bizarre that Brayden was drafted by LA, then traded away, now Luke made his way to LA. Would be nice to see Vinny turn it around, but after the past few seasons, looks like a lost cause.
