Awesome win. This team is playing for the Toddfather and for each other.

- it's crazy how much they struggle when ed isn't playing. Also him and AJ looked great tonight together! They should stay together and honestly petry just stays 7th D
- the pp continues to be unreal. Love the movement and belief they have.
- talbot had a huge 3rd period.
- showtime is here to play. He looks so revitalized under the new coach. Kane isn't going anywhere despite all the whiners who wanted him traded a couple weeks ago
- Larkin looks like Larkin that we know. Speed, speed. Raymond got him out of his head

The belief is back in Hockeytown! Go Wings!

Gotta say Johansson lowkey had a very good, confident game out there
There was nothing low key about it. He has a good partner and some playing time and he played great. Some of his physical game showed and he actually bodied Tkachuk a couple times too.

Give him 5 more games in that spot and it will be hilarious that Petry was ever in the top 4

I wanted him traded. And I don't consider it whining tbh. He was playing awful, and a vet with that kind of experience being petulant is actually a big reason the whole team stopped playing under newsey. Kane wasn't getting his way so he acted childish. That doesn't mean I'm not happy that he's finally playing with a jump in his step again.

No he wasn't being childish. Where's that info from? The coaching staff was not using him properly. They took all the creativity out of his game.

You didn't watch the games or interviews? Yes, Lalonde is a bad head coach. Yes, Lalonde getting fired is a good thing. No, Kane being a baby and not trying the first 30+ games is not a good way to compose yourself as a "leader" on the team.

It's coming from my opinion. Based on interviews

And he was not motivated whatsoever in games. Happy that he's back.
To me the entire team shared this 'sullen' attitude...It's no surprise to me at all seeing these guys playing well and having fun again...Lalonde was such a clueless goof...Just think if Yzerman grown some balls and fired him over the summer and had McLellan at the start of this season.

Johansson had a great game. Him and Ed looked confident together.

Would be dumb to put Petry back in the top 4 when he's back. Petry and Holl can rotate in and out of the lineup.

Also, Gustafsson was awful early on this season, but he's actually looked alright of late.

WOOOO!!!!!

(Just finished watching the game)

So glad they won that game. Not least of which is the fact that I had to sit through the Sens broadcast. Those homers are close to the Jack Edwards level of commentary. Not one objective comment. I wish Sportsnet+ would go back to choose your own broadcast option.

Talbot looked pretty shaky for a while but held the fort for the rest of the game.

So much fun to watch games these days. Let's go for 6!

Noodles is one of the biggest homers out there, really hard to listen to. I think he also dislikes the wings from some of those playoff series where he stuck Franzen so hes even worse when the wings play the sens
