Game 40 Red Wings vs Sens 7 00 PM Et 1 7 25

Seider had another good game aswell, he's completely rejuvenated.

Maybe I'm seeing what i want to see, but he's so much more active in the defensive zone and looks like he's acting more in instinct. Some really clutch pinches in the corner whenever a player hesitates and steps up on players to disrupt zone entries.

He's been so much more effective defensively and offensively since MC Todd took over.

No, Seider is playing like SHL and rookie Seider. He’s playing proactively instead of worrying about fitting a system.

On the Kasper 2x1, it was that fraction of a second that he took to stop the puck before shooting which allowed their goalie to reset. That comes with experience.

Looked at a couple of Sens comments which Youtube has inexplicably served to me, and they all complain about the refs and the penalties on that that "were not there." Oh well...
Sorry. To be clear I was talking about Ras in terms of no offensive skill, not Kasper. I do think Kasper has them he just hasn't quite figured them out in the NHL yet.

He is not at all fearless. He is very slow to go into the corners. That said, he did play well yesterday and has played better with each game since drawing in.

I put the slowness to get to corners or boards down to skating and awareness of his own limitations, not reluctance to engage physically. Even in SHL he had an aggressive mindset, some comparisons to Hronek in that regard by Wings' scouts. He's certainly willing IMO to take on bigger bodies and battle in the middle of scrums.
