Not sure how it ranks ,but pretty hard to win consistently unless you have a great defence, and great goaltending Bruins don’t or haven’t had either.
Lots of pressure on the goaltending when the team is averaging about 2 goals per game.

Bruins spend the 8th most in the league on their defense.
I'm afraid to ask how much they spent on the offense.

Zadorov is a guy you want in playoffs playing physical 3rd pairing minutes not top pairing skill minutes. He wanders out of position alot. That 1st goal tonite was rediculous. He has to switch off there .
True but all the talk about getting playoff guys will blow up in their faces when they don't actually make the playoffs with this roster.

Watching this team is like:

Geez, we're still in third place, thank you Stars for a little bit of division help, I guess. Thankfully, at Buff's, we had Czechia-Canada on side by side with the B's game. I just knew they would make Quick an all-star again tonight.
Only in 3rd place if you think TB won't win 1 game (or get to OT in 2) of the 5 games they have in hand. If OTT wins 2 of the 3 games they have in hand, then BOS would be in 5th place.

Not sure how it ranks ,but pretty hard to win consistently unless you have a great defence, and great goaltending Bruins don’t or haven’t had either.
Not sure how it ranks either, but they are 29th in goals per game with ANA, CHI and NAS behind them. Also, 30th in pp% and 25th in PK%.

The kicker is, because so much of the physical part of the game has been phased out, when a team is not putting up arcade style offense, the product is incredibly boring.

It’s too bad because I want to love watching the sport I love, but right now college football is a far superior product.

This team wears the Bruins’ uniforms, but they do not at all remind me of the Boston Bruins.

Same shit. Just not enough talent. Only so much Sacco can do. Swayman was fine, but could have used those big saves in the 1st period.

I'm sure both Poitras and Lysell would be regulars by now if they were Americans that played College hockey.
If only they were from Weymouth.

As much as the fan base is desperate for a dynamic trade, I just don’t see it.

The salary cap is one barrier. Another major barrier is the fact that they do not have much stock in the cupboards to trade.

As I said in the Gameday thread, prepare yourselves for this reality:
Win 2
Lose 2
Win 4
Lose 2

Now through the end of March.

Keep cycling through the same bottom six fodder, hoping to find some offensive spark.

Go through stretches where Morgan Geekie gets hot and scores three goals in four games, and then disappears for a half a dozen games.

This is what they are.

94 points, wild card, lose the first round in 5.
