I was just about to ask is Laf even playingForgive me, however, while I’m honestly impressed with Chytil and Kakko is sooo much more noticeable, I truly do not know the difference between Blais, Vesey and Lafreniere at any given time on the ice.

Vesey is an NHL'er in the defensive zone, for startersForgive me, however, while I’m honestly impressed with Chytil and Kakko is sooo much more noticeable, I truly do not know the difference between Blais, Vesey and Lafreniere at any given time on the ice.
One of them is not French CanadianForgive me, however, while I’m honestly impressed with Chytil and Kakko is sooo much more noticeable, I truly do not know the difference between Blais, Vesey and Lafreniere at any given time on the ice.
not on D they don'tFeel like they have enough talent to be a little better than that.
He's definitely still puck watching & not moving his feet when he is out there. It's like the kid is brain locked.I was just about to ask is Laf even playing
Halak with his first shutout for the season!
I noticed him for the opening shift and that was it lolHe's definitely still puck watching & not moving his feet when he is out there. It's like the kid is brain locked.
Neither does the coach.Forgive me, however, while I’m honestly impressed with Chytil and Kakko is sooo much more noticeable, I truly do not know the difference between Blais, Vesey and Lafreniere at any given time on the ice.
What's impressive is of late he's been the driver on that offense he's been a part of. If I hadn't been watching games, I would had a snarky "automatic points from playing with Fox" comment.Lindgren 0-13-13 in 38 games. Great for a defensive d-man.
Oh, thought the game was over...You just jinxed the hell out of him.
8 years 3.5, offer it now and bet him to give up his 28M guaranteed lol
The problem is, neither the organization or the player has figured out what he needs to do on the ice. With many of our forwards, we can easily pinpoint their strengths and styles, be they successful with it or not. I still haven't figured out what Laf's is. His shot? Then why doesn't he use it even when he has a chance.Forgive me, however, while I’m honestly impressed with Chytil and Kakko is sooo much more noticeable, I truly do not know the difference between Blais, Vesey and Lafreniere at any given time on the ice.
There's always a chance. Look at Drouin. But I think he will pull through. It's just taking longerChytil and Kakko are so far ahead of Laf at this point and look like players that we dare I say didn't ruin. Is it possible Laf is just a bust?
YesDid anyone know that Juraj Slafkovsky is only 18 years old?
I get what you're saying but honestly, this is just so wrong after that dumb penalty he took lol.I think I figured out why I like Krav so much
He's very fundamentally sound. With his stick, body, positioning, he's always opting for the smart and efficient play. He doesn't really take risks but he also really really rarely makes a dumb decision. Being smart and efficient (along with his stickplay, which is def one of the better ones on the team) he just naturally causes good things to happen whether he has a point or not.
i.e. his entry and forecheck made Schneider's goal happen. him screening kochetkov made trochek's goal happen.
it's not impressive and he's not as flashy or put together as I wish he was, but he's good at lots of little, basic things that this whole roster likes to overcomplicate.
I think just like those other two, he should maybe have a stint in the A to regain his confidence. But hes not a bust. Lets stop calling 21yo kids busts. Give him some time.Chytil and Kakko are so far ahead of Laf at this point and look like players that we dare I say didn't ruin. Is it possible Laf is just a bust?
Is that even possible?!this Slafkovsky kid is not impressive at all
like a dumber and slower Lafreniere

He's got good hockey IQ. It's apparent very quickly.I think I figured out why I like Krav so much
