with lots of sarcasm in the word feet. Sadly the media around the country knows how laughable his stat line is, yet he continues to get top 9 ice time.

Doughty \ Kopitar have to play lights out if the Kings want a chance of beating the Hawks. The Kings don't have the depth to beat the Hawks consistantly.

I'm sure it's in reference to the stretch passes they're making. If the Kings D backs off to cover their high forwards, we can't cycle. D moves up, they get beat by a pass for a 2-1 or 3-2.

Hawks are just freakin good! They are sooooo deep it's not even funny! I think they'll repeat again this year.

Pretty much. Think the kings either trade RR or Greene + Stoll+1st for some offense.

Amart on defense is much better. He's mobile and pretty smart.

Kings need to make some trades and take some risks if they want to even think about beating Chicago.

As soon as we get rid of Lewis/Fraser, and all the other voids. We might have a chance. But it seems that DL might be a little too attached to the players.

Okay, there wasn't a single stretch pass in any of those highlights. These guys are pathetic.

Richards and Brown will eventually come out of this, but right now they are going through the type of slumps we have come to expect from both these guys. It's just unfortunate they are going through it at the same time.

I just wish Richards would play better defensively during these slumps, that is one thing you can always count on from Kopitar, he is always elite defensively even when struggling to put points on the board.

Yup, the Kings can't afford to turn the puck over at either blue line against the Hawks.

Still, Richards should have gotten back to break that up and it should be 0-0 heading into the 2nd.

If the Kings are trading for a scorer it's likely from a rebuilding team, don't see how a team like Calgary or Buffalo is going to have any real interest in RR, Greene or Stoll, unless it's to make salaries work, and even then that's just going to be a throw in with the good prospects who would be going the other way.

Exactly you don't get any offense that matters for those guys.

Any player that could play top six minutes and be worth it. Would cost someone like Pearson/Vey or Slava.

Say like Florida , I wouldnt part with a top six player unless LA had Vey or Pearson + pick coming back .

Meh, shots were 6-6 in the 1st. The Kings are playing exactly the way they need to be playing against Chicago. Just a bad turnover by Muzzin at the blue line and a poor effort by Richards getting back. Stoll would have made that play easily.
