Lombardi would never break up the core for a player, especially including two of the leaders of the Kings. Also, what kind of message does it say to the team? A deal like that would kill the room .

Regardless Winn wouldn't accept Brown or Williams as the main player coming back for Kane.

They would want young cost controlled roster players , they could start a core with.

Slava/Toffoli Slava/Vey Slava/Pearson plus picks would be the starting point. Kings would have to add from there.

I don't think the Kings are playing lethargic, Chicago is just far superior. It's 1-0 and I don't feel like we have a chance.

This isn't even Chicago playing at their best, the Kings are just making it easy for them because they're not challenging or attacking. They keep giving the puck to the Hawks with their weak dumps and horrendous puck retrieval.
