You wake up to the smell of your schmorgusboard that your personal chef has ready. A rocket 10/10 stirs in the sheets next to you. You skip another workout, because u only go once a week to see the boys. "Another day of golf" you think. You see that your monthly cheque of a gaurunteed $1 million cdn has been deposited successfully. You haven't scored in 10 games but your coach is a meek little boy and there are no fans to notice or even recognize u in anyway. You look forward to your vacation in April, the month when your season always ends. Thank God you left Canada.

What's your excuse?
Their GDT is full of people ripping him.

I thought it was a fair deal at the time, and a great contract for the Kings, but if there was ever a player to give up after getting his big contract, I'd guess it would have been PLD.

This just in, NHL league Standing tracker division is closed due to no team leading the standings; until further notice.

I hope this GDT gets mentioned in the mains.

I assumed that his poor play immediately after the trade from Columbus to Winnipeg was just an adjustment period considering how he played for (most of) the following season. It really looks like he just doesn't care to play the way that got him that contract. There were so many red flags but at the same time you can see why someone would take that risk in just assuming that his play would get more consistent once he was in a place he wanted to be in.
