I'm an old timer these prices go over my head . I wouldn't pay $270 to see god
True, but bananas are still 49 cents a pound. Everthing's been gouged over the last couple years except bananas. What's the story there?

Memba Dana Hershey??
Besides the SOX and the BRUINS, the Movie Loft presented some damn good movies.

Thankfully my seats aren't over $200...yet
At what price will you stop going, Lady?

One of the really true sayings: "If you don't spend your money, somebody else will."

It's funny how common phrases change over time. Like @Ladyfan, I always used the term "Call in sick to work" rather than "Call out sick" which is fashionable now.
Maybe TMI, but when I was a youngin' you "had your period", you weren't "on your period".

Not sure. I am 71 and live in NH so there may/will came a time where the drive to Boston is too much.

I am living on much less money than before I retired.

I envision holding on to the seats and maybe selling a few more to help cover costs. I could switch to cheaper seats but love our seats too much and would miss sitting there. I am quite sure our seats would sell right away if we gave them up.

SO ...don't know. Financially it would be wise to not keep them...but so far I am paying all of the bills.

Interesting to see Hnidy ended up in Vegas but they have by far the best duo in the NHL.
I always liked his attitude. He seemed like a good teammate. I used to wear a sheriff's badge that said Sheriff Shane.

When he left one of the Bs guys gave me Shane's helmet. When he returned (Brought back in Jan 2011 to be a black ace) he stopped to chat (during some ceremony) I told him I had one of his helmets...He said it was OK..

He had a good face but could give scary looks to some.

god would'nt charge that much
When I first got my ST there were some $10 tickets. Also, the STH were treated better.

The Garden wasn't full and the glass seats in front of us were hard core fans from the old Garden. They got priced out. Now most glass seats are owned by corporations. I miss some of the old timers. Some nights I want to bring a bunch of pink hats to the game and hand them out....but the folks I handed them to wouldn't get it.

There are some nights that we get some great fans too.

I have fun more often than not.

I'm older than you and I find the cost of regular season tickets disgusting. But in defense of the BRUINS prices I will, at least, admit that the organization does present their fans with a very competitive team year after year after year. Most other high priced franchises can not say the same.

Whatever music he was into when this pic was taken, I can assure you, was terrible.
