It's a game of inches, this one could just as easily be 4-1 for us right now, we've gotten the chances, and for the most part, three posts, two very good short handed chances, a couple near misses,

I'm happy with how we played for the most part, didn't like the pass by Giroux though.

The first goal was tough but the second was a short side wrister from far out.

that's where all the goalscorers score as its the toughest for the goalie to save.above the pad below the blocker.

it was a perfect shot that bastian had all the time in the world to tee up. blaming goalie on that is not it.

blame giroux, blame tkachuk, batherson, team IQ. but Forsberg? cmon.

Forsberg sucks but, 1st goal against was a double deflection off Bernard Docker, second goal was on an Ottawa PP that had the first minute hemmed in our own zone.

I don't think Tkachuk has been the issue. He's doing his thing in the boards. The reality is Giroux is missing that jump. Can't be a first line with only two guys going every shift.

This team has a lot of loser tendencies. They break down at the most critical parts of the game.

Not completely. We have a 1st line problem IMO. almost every other team's 1st line outmatches ours; they always seem hemmed in their own zone.

The boys have skill but where's the intensity, the tenacity, and the ******* motor? Our top line guys do not move their feet.

First line hasn't looked great in any of the games so far. Might have to think about switching some players, Tkachuk and Giroux are not playing well.
Also, it's really frustrating how Stützle just becomes such a whiny brat when things are not going the team's way. Create some offense, work your magic, don't flop and look at the ref for 5 seconds ffs.

A lot of guys are showing sloppy play, low effort and looks slow and it's mostly veterans : Tkachuk, Giroux, Batherson, Perron( this guy invisible), Forsberg, Hamonic ( not his fault) and Chabot

Agreed but when your on the PP you shouldn't spend the majority of time in the defensive zone.

again perfect shot with no pressure on the shooter. even Hamonic would be dangerous if he got a the opportunity for a shot like that.
