I’ll be honest, some moves Slafkovsky pulled through two periods look really convincing.

Most times I feel he’s a bit lucky to get out with the puck or it just fails, but things seems to be working extremely well tonight in that area of the game.

Still a bit lost without the puck, but seing him move seamlessly with the puck and have some success keeping it with some moves is great.

I'm not worried for his play in the defensive end. I think he will make better reads and gain confidence with experience.

Getting some nice carries in the NZ, just wish he'd find that extra gear to try some stuff on the entries. Also he seems to follow the puck a bit, just let the play come to you a bit more mate.

Sometimes when I watch Slaf out there it's like he can't bend from any of his joints and looks like Forrest trying to run in his leg braces. :)

Yeah, it comes with some more confidence but it’s coming. He’s been playing pretty well

Who would you have kept on the team: Kulak, Chiarot, Edmundson, Weber (well, scratch that last one)? On the flip side, who would you have added that's better than the current Ds, Mailloux, Struble, Trudeau, FA?
I mean I would have started years ago by trading price and webs when they had value. The backend scouts have been solidified by now

In a way, Botterill resembles Brooke Sheilds a little bit. The Leafs could use Gallagher going to the net.
That means that Sportsdesk is like 'The Blue Lagoon' but instead of learning to survive & making babies they just sit around talking about the Maple Leafs until they die.
