Trudeau at RD I don't know if I recall seeing him at RD in Laval before. Another healthy scratch to top pairing, not that Norlinder or anyone has been good on that blueline but man does Houle seem to not like him or Mesar.

The reason for Trudeau not playing left was to be able to pair him with Struble, who as per a pundit on 91.9 FM earlier, is considered by Houle to have been the most stable and reliable D on the Rocket so far.

Trudeau has defensive shortcomings, most notably when it comes to puck management and the thinking here is that Struble will act as a buffer to help offset Trudeau’s liabilities.

Boohoo. If the team doesn't aim for win there's compete and when there's no compete you can say goodbye to prospect development all together. If coach says "prospect development first and winning second" then he doesn't know what the hell he's doing. There's only one enviroment where youngster takes steps forward and it isn't training while playing.

What I notice about Dobes is that he plays too deep in his net and drops to his knees too early. Opposing teams have noticed this because they often shoot into the top of the net.
