Therrien:

We jusst didn't get dee calls. Day ran our goaly and dee refs didn't make dee calls. I know ware Bassard was hirt. Just remember dat.

It's amazing how different the analysis is - NHLN is lauding all kinds of praise and NBCSN is all about Tokarski and his .897 save % as "outplaying" Lundqvist - until the game was over and THEN saying Lundqvist was the difference.

He was outplaying Lundqvist until the mid second/third period.

Then Hank turned it on.

To be fair Tokarski is facing a lot more tough shots than Hank. Rangers are outplaying the Habs, they had like 5 breakaways tonight.

It's just an observation, jeez.

Look, if we lost this game, it would not have been the fault of Hank or anything - the team in front of him definitely could have been better. All I am saying is that I think he should make that save in game 4 of the conference finals. It's not a horrendous goal, but I think he makes that 99/100.

First goal he had but it somehow went through him. If you watch it, it bounced off his chest and somehow still went in. Second goal deflected off Gallagher - don't know if that scoring was ever switched, but he had no chance. I'll agree that he could've done better on the 1st goal but he did get it. It just somehow went through him.

You should have read this BB guy in the game thread - disgusting

Reminds me of all the garbage that came out in the first couple months of the season. Some "fans" have zero faith, zero respect

One game from playing for the cup - amazing - LGR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You haven't responded to me yet.

I made one or two reactionary posts. Who doesn't make reactionary posts? It's game 4 of the conference finals, I need a place to vent my irrationality during games.

I really shouldn't have to justify that to anyone here, especially when I wasn't even being malicious/a jerk about it.

Well, yeah. First goal was a bad goal -- especially for him. I mean, I'm glad that we can all at least agree on that. I think we all also agree that he was stellar besides that, too. :handclap:

HOW DARE YOU DO . . . that.

Just finished watching the game on DVR. Unbelievable! Great job MArty! One more to go.

Also I hate this Montreal team. Coach complains about everything. They embellish every single play and never get called. And please Pouliot PLEASE stop with the offensive zone penalties.

Also what's the deal with Vanek? I mean I know I've said lots of times he's a guy we should go after this offseason (prior to getting MSL now we have no spot) but this guy has been completely invisible and does not look like a dynamic player at all. At least a non-scoring Nash is still a factor defensively and such but this guy is entirely unnoticeable.

Not saying you specifically but if he gave up that goal that tokarski did in OT it would be ugly in here. Fans don't appreciate what they are seeing each time this guy plays.

“@stevezipay: With the win, Lundqvist ties Mike Richter for franchise lead with 41 playoff wins.â€

Heard that during the game and was amazed, because the guy is literally re-writing the team's record book this season and still has so much hockey still to come. Phenomenal career he's having.

To be fair, that was a 1 on 1 with a guy who has a penchant for going top shelf.

But, yeah, I agree. I probably wouldn't be happy with that goal, either. Doesn't mean I don't consider him the great Rangers goalie ever, and perhaps the greatest Rangers of all time (probably after Leetch, although he's still got some years to tack onto to his legacy).

The thing with Hank is that with how good he is, expectations are so high, anything short of near perfection seems like a disappointment.

People always say stuff like this but forget that there are higher expectations on a star player than a rookie getting his first real action in the playoffs. I expect a rookie to make mistakes.

I honestly didn't know how bad Emelin was. I figured he was a solid D who throws some big hits...he's been really terrible this series.

Great game guys, your team is so fast it's ridiculous. Hagelin and Kreider are such speedsters and Hagelin is so strong on his skates, see ya in Game 5!

Yup. No guy I'm rooting for more than him, the guy has been carrying the franchise on his back for nine years - nice to see him get rewarded a bit.
