What's a computer?
I keep saying he is not a top 6 forward anymore and is a lateral move from Perron but people here don’t like to hear literally anything negative.

This team is once again full of shit veterans instead of infusing with kids who play hungry and have potential.

It’s frustrating because the better option is right there.
never liked the tank signing. could b a valuable piece on another team but needs others to cover his deficiencies like kane. carrying 2 slow offensive vets specialists isnt very viable IMO.

This team is mentally weak. They are really not this bad, despite the roster changes done for better or worse this offseason. Something has ripped through the room and is rotting the team from the inside like a plague

Few imminent changes that need to be made that will drive immediate results:

• Most likely a head coach change. This just seems like more of the same deflating play that ate away at us last year down the stretch

• Call up Marco Kasper. He will spark this team immediately

• If we have all these defensemen, find out what works and stick with it. Putting Johansson in the press box when he's done nothing in the small sample size yet to suggest he should be sitting there is ridiculous to me

Gustafsson has shown he is losing ground on being a serviceable NHLer, and I'm not sure what our pro scouting was seeing in him to offer him a 2 year deal. I had hope he could offer something useful in lieu of Ghost's absence, so he needs to find that immediately
Best post I've seen all night. All the problems that plagued us last season are all apprent still. And worse, our offense is non existent. Yzerman better make these changes very soon or it'll be too late.

Our offense was mostly based on luck last year. We had among the highest PDO and shooting % in the league last year. It won’t be close this year.

Not only Kasper, but also Mazur and reunite them with Berggren. Wonder what

I waited patiently for the game to end. Dabbled in YouTube and did some reading. When I was able to catch the replay, I was not rewarded.

If the Rags fan that tossed his hat on the ice and started taking pictures and posting on social media left the game to find his car was stolen...good.

It was absolutely amazing to watch no one make a play. Well, outside of Chiarot mugging someone. But between the whistles. No one seemed to be able to DO anything. Credit to the Rangers for suffocating us, I guess, but damn...

Great. Another season of shit hockey with no system, the inability to make simple f***ing breakouts and general passing, and a roster and coaching staff that seem totally checked out/don't care.

f*** this.
Hey, look on the bright side: At least our young players are getting held down or being bypassed for pivotal roles on the ice in favor of mediocre, place-holding vets.

This isn’t the team that should be carrying around Patrick Kane so he can stick handle and do promos. This team almost had an identity and then they signed Kane. Now what is it? Defense? Skill? What’s your calling card?

It really does seem like since the Kane signing the team hasn’t been the same. The team played more cohesive when he wasn’t around last year.

I paid good money for this upcoming Saturday game in Nashville they better bring a stronger effort.

I’ll be at the game as well. But now I’m not excited for it at all.

Here come the overreactions.

Rangers are a great team, a contender. Starting the season with two games against them always looked brutal. So far the Pens game is the only one that was a major miss.

Starting the season 1-3 while playing like the team gave a shit in only 1 of 3 is a major miss. I don’t know how you can excuse the team being this bad out the gate when they’ve traditionally started well.

I think they played well most of the Nashville and 1st NYR game. Idk, I think there are some concerning aspects going on but looking at the schedule this is not too different from what should have been expected.

Last season we started pretty well but when we ran into some more difficult teams we mostly got a reality check. 1-4 loss against Winnipeg, 1-4 loss against Boston, 0-2 loss against Florida, 3-5 loss against NYR, etc.

Beat Nashville and I'd say the first 5 games have been an acceptable result points-wise.

It's easy to see it comes from the schedule. NYR is one of the best teams, and we tend to lose for great teams.

Easier games will come at some point of the season, and that could build some confidence. Now it's hard to build.
