Get Rielly off the top PP. He is too slow. He gets the puck, stick handles, then passes EVERYTIME. By then the Pkers have moved over and are covering Matthews, then he tries to force it anyway. EVERY TIME

Any player playing the point on the powerplay does that. There's a reason why they routinely say "xxx" walks the blueline and it's typically the player playing the point.

The PK has a defender that pressures the point man and when Rielly digs it off the board he has to move across the ice to get an open lane to pass to a player.


Much better than throwing the puck cross ice and giving up a breakaway 50% of the time.
