A few issues and misplays, but if they keep up the effort and intensity I think they'll take this game over.

sheshterkin is what modern goaltending is supposed to look like. Kid is going to be a problem for a lot of years.

every single goaltender we face we make them look amazing, you realize that right?

4 straight games. at one point, while sheshterkin might actually be good, his performance tonight is more us than it is him…. just like *literally* every other goaltender we’ve faced…. including ones that are barely nhlers.

Shesterkin is really good and has looked good, but we've also beat him clean a couple of times, just haven't beaten the post.

Yup .. true. Damn, those few Georgiev games from the past still give me nightmares. The good thing for me is that I am so happy that Matthews is back - that I am in a great mood tonight .. so whatever happens I will be fine with it.

After last seasons choke job I hope Holl doesn't have a 82 game leash if he continues to play bad. He only has one good stretch of 10 games a year, carried by Muzzin for the rest, then trash for the remainder.

He was always a bandaid D for me I never thought he'd be here long term.

I’d say that pass up the middle by Tavares to the rangers was the much bigger problem

regardless, the team is needlessly careless with the puck sometimes, even with hyman was there thats a very very low % chance in exchange for a chance against(usually an oddman rush too) not needed imo.
