Im a big Stetcher fan. He was interviewed yesterday and asked about Ekholm coming back in. Love the response
I want him healthy and I want him to help us win. He's better player than I am. Thats just the reality of the world.
I dont want to talk poorly of anyone, but my time in Vancouver, we werent very good. And my time in Arizona, we werent very good. My time in Detroit, we werent very good. I just want opportunity to play on a contender.

I like the idea of 11 & 7 to ease Ekholm back in but I'm not the coach and Knobby seems to be doing a great job.

How can you not love a guy like that both as a teammate and as a fan. That kid just oozes character, it’s a whole bunch of unselfish guys like Stecher that have helped take this team to where they are today. I hope he gets his ring this year.
100%
Stetcher is a great Dman. He can move the puck, skate, and he is our new honey badger

If PP opportunities are any indication, the league really wanted LA to beat us, they favored Vegas over us, but right now they favor us over Dallas. I can understand why Deboer is losing his mind. "WTH Gary, your supposed to be on our side!"

Or you know, we could just be more disciplined in not taking penalties. Who knows.

DeBoer is losing his mind because he knows the power play is his team’s only chance. They suck at 5 on 5 and have all playoffs. And let’s not act like the refs didn’t ignore multiple blatant penalties against Dallas last game either. Brown got hit in the head, Nuge got tripped into the end boards. Robertson trying to get his stuck unstuck from Kulak’s skate after tripping him while the ref stood there watching with his arm down was something.

The Oilers got terrible reffing through two rounds and it didn’t phase them because they know they’re elite at 5 on 5 and that will usually have them coming out ahead.

11-7 f***s up the D rotations and the ability to read off your partner because you are always playing with a different partner

Yeah this is my worry with 11-7. They haven’t played much with it this year. To be fair, I think guys are kind used to playing with different guys because the defense isn’t really deployed the way people write it down on paper. But I think I would rather just them make a decision and play 12-6

11 7 is a mistake imo

Or maybe there's no conspiracy and the refs just don't like guys constantly complaining to them every game nor do they like players intentionally slashing them.

Or like Edmonton experienced in the past when their PP was automatic for a goal or more every game, they tended to get less favourable calls.

On one of the early season OilersTV+ Oil Drop episodes they had him mic'd up.

I forget who he was talking to on the bench, but he was telling him "I've always played on bottom feeders, this is just an insane level here" and then right when he's done talking we score again. That was while we were kind of playing shitty as a team too.

You can tell he's extremely appreciative to be on a team like this and will do whatever it takes to stick around and contribute, even if it meant cleaning the lockers probably.

Too bad this wasn't province wide. It says 21 locations, and according to Maps, there are 20 in Edmonton and one in GP. None for us in central AB. Well, there's Popeyes, but these ones aren't supporting Ben, so there's not much point.

Just my opinion but Honestly their food tastes like shit. I’d rather just give a $20 to the charity directly than buy a shitty Popeyes soggy chicken over sauced sandwich and let Popeyes get the giant tax credit.

I honestly hardly ever have it, so I'm not even sure what I'm missing.

This has triggered Mary Brown's for dinner tonight though. My diet is going to hate me.
