??? The team's, and the playoffs', #1D has been on the team since the start and he's been excellent. He was excellent again last night.

I love Ekholm, he is NOT this team's #1D.
Have to agree. Ekholm is a great stabilizing force but playoff Bouchard is next level, he's the best Dman on the team now. Hell, he's putting together an all time great playoff resume for a 25 year old Dman.

With that said, adding a healthy Ekholm (and lets hope he is indeed healthy now and not being rushed back in) would be a very welcome addition to a defense group that has been very good without him,

If Ekholm is 100% ready, you have to put him in. Go 11-7. The reason for this would be to ease him in. If he is 100% ready, more rest could just make him a bit rusty and not let him get into the rhythm more quickly

I have a feeling he's gonna be in tomorrow and they'll just run some shift with shuffled lines to make sure everyone is getting minutes. The luxury of having 6 capable centres is you can keep everyone involved in an 11-7 line up.

If Ekholm's ready to go I have no problem playing him tomorrow and getting his feet wet. Sooner the better if you want him hitting the ground running for the cup final if they get there.

Ekholm says he's ready, that he's happy where his body is at

Play him. We need him up to full speed ASAP. I'd rather his first or second game not be in the Finals

Absolutely correct adding a healthy Ekholm is a massive boost, but people need to see reality, Bouchard is this team's #1D and a legit one at that.

He absolutely is though. A big reason out pk has been so bad is because bouchards a regular on it. Ekholm would be logging the most minutes if he were healthy.
