Yeah I disregarded that comment at first but all I ever think when I see games played on big ice is my god is this boring.

Nicer techniques that lead to fewer chances due to all the skating around in open ice waiting for the perfect opportunity. If that's your thing, fine, but most people here prefer the faster pace and tighter play on NA rinks. You're not gonna get a ton of people on your bandwagon with this.

I really don't care about that lel... better to see some eye candy goals than some really ugly boring goals just because of the speed lel...

It’s far easier on big ice to play a boring defensive shell type of game as I call it that the Finns used to play with and a lot of the mid-major powers like Switzerland play with on big ice.

I like the more frenetic pace on the smaller ice where you can’t reasonably succeed playing the Euro defensive shell game where you have all defenders on their heels clogging the middle.

Swedish surnames are common in Finland, most of them aren't actual Swedish-Finns.

As painfull as it is. I know verry well never to count Finland out they sure knows how to turn the tides of the game... I love the Sweden-Finland games best games when this two teams play but Finland is allllllllllllllllllllllllllllways dangerous even when they are behinde.
