Chaput made some mistakes and turnovers in the D zone in the first period. I noticed him making similar mistakes in one of the earlier games (I don't remember which one). He really seems like a guy who is never going to be NHL ready. You can't make the same mistakes again and again. I think the only reason it isn't getting highlighted is because none of them have lead to goals against yet. But both he and Hartnell worry me in the defensive zone. They're the two guys I've noticed turning it over and failing to get the puck out of the zone.
