Colorado has a great forechecking. They send in 3, get pressure and we fold like a newspaper.

We send in one guy, stand around and they use their speed to blow by our loafers.

I think that'll be the thing that buries us during the season. Our passing under pressure is terrible

Turnover leads to great opportunity for the Avs. We insist on shooting ourselves in the foot

so much negativity here. they are playing with passion, which I will say is an improvement. good on dubinsky for standing up. even though it was for a former rangers teammate (only 1/2 credit for it)

Exactly what about hamsters and ****** electropop music is supposed to make me want to buy a Kia?

I actually miss bikini girls and washed up 80's hair bands...

The difference between our two goalies is clear. If Bobrovsky gets scored on early, he gets stronger as the game goes longer. If Mason gets scored on early, he hangs his head and gets blown out.

I didn't think this before the season, but I gotta say I think we'll finish bottom 5 with the way our offense looks. Yes, I get the "score by committee" and "outwork the other guys to get goals" mantras, but at a certain point you need players who know wtf to do with the puck in the offensive zone, regardless of whether or not you outwork them. I haven't seen that ability to put the puck in/be in the right spots in any of the games this year, and I fear that's gonna be how it is. Hard work can only get you so far.

I wish you were wrong, but you're not. If the opponent scores 3 goals, they're pretty much assured of getting a point.

Which, as astounding as it seems, we still have a chance to win this thing! That is if they get their sticks out of their ***** and score!

Sounds like you might also have stumbled on how they are the same, too.

Have not been watching tonite. But after reading pages 6-9 of this thread, it does not sound like we are doing very well. (Ducks quickly as rotten tomatoes are thrown at me).
