Someone mentioned in another thread they haven't been able to watch a game yet - I've been in the same sad boat.

That changes tonight! Huzzah! Go Jackets! CHILI! CHILI! CHILI!

Does Bally broadcast the Jackets on TV or is just a stream? Old guy, non-technical question.

The other night the Jackets feed kept fading in and out while the Florida feed worked well.

Listening to them made me long for Rimmer.

Yeah Fantilli getting a Brindley like player should feel good. Hopefully Danforth is up to speed and his normal buzzing self
the size / hustle stuff notwithstanding, i think you may be overstating the similarities between danforth (an undersized fourth liner) and brindley (a highly-skilled playmaking who will be a top six guy in short time)

i'm not a lebanc fan and i'm glad that danforth is coming in for him, but if he was on fantilli's line, i don't think that line would suddenly start driving play.

luckily it looks like they're moving kj into lebanc's spot and danforth onto the sillinger line, which should show us how much of that line's success was because of kj.

By the xGs, both of the middle six lines were struggling. Whereas our two veteran lines have both been dominant. So I don't mind the shakeup. And I'm super excited to see KJ and Fantilli together.

I'm very excited to see Danforth back. It at least gives Fantilli a linemate who can skate with him.

I’d still rather see KJ or even Pyyhtia playing with Fantilli. Especially with it being Danforth’s 1st game, he’s not going to be great.

Load up on the minutes for Johnson-Fantilli-Pyyhtia… and give JVR-Sillinger-Danforth real 3rd line minutes. Give them special teams time, if you must. Evason seems to be trying to fit a true “top 6” into a weakened “top 9”, and I’m not a fan.

Actually seeing the “updated” lines, while I’m still not a huge fan of his game at this point, JVR adds a size/net presence, and he won’t be asked to do much carrying the puck playing with KJ and Fantilli. He’s fine as the 3rd wheel playing with those 2 guys.
