Greer's main contribution to each possession: Holding the stick of any opposing player near him. Somehow without a penalty.
Anyone else notice how bad our breakouts are compared to Florida. We throw the puck to open space, often in desperation. They at least attempt tape to tape passes.
There is something really wrong with the design of our offense.
Our skill set is dump and chase, yet we seldom, other than our effective 4th line, ever do it.
And the PP, where do we start. I'd replace Mc w/ Lohrie or use them both and put Pasta back on the left elbow. With someone that can actually shoot form the point, teams won't be able to lean toward a double team.
Also the great future HOF'r Bobrovski, once again gets beat stick side, midway up. If teams just shot there, then he would never stop another shot
This is going to be a very frustrating year if things don't change.
Yeah but its the biggest squad we've had in a long, long time........For dump and chase to work you have to get there fast enough to actually cause the D distress. Half the wingers in the middle six are slow as f***.
Why not both?Almost stupid penalty or Florida garbage goal time.
Thanks coachBeing intimidated and having desire to getting involved is not the same but the same result
