Crazy you say that .. I was driving tonight and I was like do you think Lalonde is watching these games? If you're Lalonde, are you at home like "damn, maybe I was the problem"?

Chiarot is a decent player. He needs to be used in a way that plays to his strengths. I feel like he's a little bit of Brad Stuart. Steady, reliable, physical, and a great compliment to someone else's game.

Yeah. We'll see of course. I do hope that this round of trying this pairing might be Ben finally realizing that he's not playing with a rookie, he's playing with a damn superstar in the making.Yeah, but he’s played like that player for about 20 games in Detroit. Bad coach or not, he needs a lot more games like this to reclaim that status. Not saying he can’t do it, but dudes’s been rubbish in Detroit for long enough that he has a steep redemption arc.
I had this image in my head of him with a bottle in his hand just raged outta his mind watching it in his living room lolI bet you that he is.
Even after I rolled over my company 401k, I still watch the stock and want it to tank, lol, and I'm pretty sure it will soon.
So true.I suspect it will have to filter in over some period of time. Doesn't strike me as ever quickly re-assessing his conclusions.

Imagine being Stevie and having fire him in person. Wish we knew the details of how that went down.
I can't imagine Lalonde going out quietly and not saying something.

I believe a lot of it has to do with personel.Yeah, but he’s played like that player for about 20 games in Detroit. Bad coach or not, he needs a lot more games like this to reclaim that status. Did you?If they spring Cat and he scores I will eat a vegetable.
They didn't spring him for a breakaway so no. I don't even know if I have any veggies right now. Are red bell peppers veg or fruit?Did you?
And it better have been a cucumber or celery. The only s tier veggies.
They are seed bearing so they are a fruit. They didn't spring him for a breakaway so no. I don't even know if I have any veggies right now. Are red bell peppers veg or fruit?
I think it’s hard to state just how good of a season seider is having, he’s on pace for 50+ points, 200+ hits and almost 200 blocked shots. That is unheard of to have a guy who can do all of that as a defenseman. The game has opened up a lot recently so theres a lot of defenseman who can go over PPG now but I’d argue guys who can score 50 points and delve out as much physical punishment as seider can, are just as rare.
4? 5?Haha, Lyon. "I made them shoot at the posts."
6 points behind the Bruins and 2 games in hand.Bruins lost, rangers too. Blue jackets won.
2 points behind Ottawa and 4 behind Bruins. Game in hand on Bruins.
I think he has done a great job there.I keep thinking teams will eventually figure out how to exploit the match up against Veleno but bro hasn't gotten into too much trouble.
He was on the ice for both their goals and his turnover led directly to their 1st goal. Why did Johansson get replaced on the 2nd pair by Holl in the 3rd period?
I thought he was great; didn't make a single mistake the entire game. Holl was of course right in front of the net on their 2nd goal in the 3rd too.
And you barely even notice Kasper in the game? How horrible does Copp have to play to lose that spot?
I like Chiarot a lot. But I am probably the only one on the board.I believe a lot of it has to do with personel.
I know I know. But it’s the reality. But I do agree he needs to keep this up in order to be considered good again. I do believe that and I still think he’s solid. I’m probably the minority but I wouldn’t mind resigning him presuming he keeps this play up. Our d core will improve and he’ll be slotted accordingly which would help too.
He reminds me of a Brad Stuart. I think someone else said that too earlier.
Idk I think he gets to much hate.
I like him a lot too. He had a rough first season here, but he was going through some tough times. Last year he was good, and the same this year.I like Chiarot a lot. But I am probably the only one on the board.
I've always compared Seider to Rob Blake. Not too many players are actually as mean/assholely as Pronger. He's a genuine prick, just naturally walking. Like, just not a good guy or quality company.Chris Pronger probably was the last one.
